Do I need any previous boxing experience to attend your boxing course?
No, you do not need any previous boxing experience to attend our 2 day boxing course. Our course is designed for everyone who has an interest in boxing for fitness.
What does it cost to attend your boxing course?
Your investment in our complete Boxing course that includes Level 1 – Train the Trainer & Level 2 – Train the Instructor is $399 Incl. GST per participant, excluding any Early bird discounts. A set of comprehensive Level 1 & 2 boxing manuals and certificates in full colour will be provided.
How many CEC’s or PDP’s will I get?
Fitness Australia awards 7 CEC’s and Kinect Australia 2 PDP’s for successfully completing our gloveson’s Level 1, Train the Trainer. For successfully completing our gloveson’s Level 2, Train the Instructor, 7 CEC’s and 3 PDP’s are awarded.
This mean by completing our gloveson Level 1 & Level 2 boxing course you will receive the maximum amount of accredited CEC’s or PDP’s for re-registration.
Are there any discounts for paying my course registration fees in advance?
Yes, a 10% Early bird discount applies when you pay in full for both our Level 1 & Level 2 Boxing Course.
When you pay (3) weeks prior to the course commencement you will automatically receive the 10% Early bird discount.
Can I arrange to be invoiced?
Yes we can email or fax you an invoice, but remember to confirm your place within our course, payment must be received prior to the commencement date.
Where are the venues for the boxing courses located?
gloveson use a number of different venues in Melbourne to conduct their 2 day Boxing course. Currently we are running courses in East Keilor & Somerton. We are planning on expanding our courses and the suburbs that we operate in so keep an eye on this space.
I have already attended a different boxing course in the past. Is it still necessary for me to complete the Level 1 boxing course before I do the Level 2 boxing course?
We recommend that all participants complete our Level 1 boxing course, prior to attending our Level 2 boxing course, as our Level 1 boxing course, gives you the additional technical knowledge and skill so that you can maximise your learning in our Level 2 boxing course. However if you feel that you poses these skills you can contact us to discuss.
What is the minimum number of participants required for an on-site Boxing workshop?
A minimum of eight (8) participants per venue is required to conduct our boxing course and a period of two (2) weeks’ notice to customize any aspects of our boxing course.
What happens if I need to cancel or postpone my booking?
gloveson understands that circumstances may arise requiring a registrant to cancel and/or wish to reschedule his or her 2 Day Boxing Course registration. If a cancellation request is made gloveson requires a minimum of 5 days notification, whereby you will be able to re-book to an alternative course available.
- Cancellations made at anytime without the desire to re-book will incur a $50 administration fee.
- Cancellations can be made either via phone on 0404 058 721, or email, via the Contact Us tab on our website.
- gloveson, will make every effort not to cancel or postpone any courses, however if cancellation or postponement is necessary due to lack of numbers, registrants will be notified 5 days prior to our course commencement date by phone and email. Registrants will be automatically transferred into our next boxing course, or can choose to receive a full refund.
Who delivers the boxing courses?
gloveson boxing courses are delivered by highly qualified boxing instructors, each with over 10 years of experience. Our instructors have presented at Filex Fitness Convention in Darling Harbour Sydney and are recognized as industry experts in their field.
To ensure high standards are kept, gloveson has a 2 instructor policy at every course, which means that all participants receive one on one time with each instructor.
How do I register?
To register for our boxing course, you can call us on 0404 058 721 or go to the Brochures & Enrolment Forms section; download the appropriate enrolment form and send it back to us via email, to contactus@gloveson.com.au . Can I pay on the day?
gloveson prefers payments are made prior to commencement of course. We have a maximum number of 16 participants for each course. Participants who pay prior to the course are guaranteed a place. Only if places are available will we accept participants to enrol on the day.
What happens if I miss one of the days?
If for some reason you are not able to attend either of the days, gloveson will make every effort to reschedule you into our next boxing course, or the next course that’s suitable to you.

Why is it important for Fitness / Exercise Professionals to be insured?
As a Fitness / Exercise Professional, you may think that malpractice charges are something that only doctors and nurses need to worry about. But the truth is, today even Fitness Professionals like you can be sued.
You put yourself at risk with each client you see. Even in performing routine duties complications can arise. A dissatisfied client may file a lawsuit against you. Charges maybe totally without merit, but you may still have to defend yourself in court. These charges could result in damages awarded, in addition to the cost of an attorney to defend you.
Do I need to have insurance if I am directly employed by a Centre?
If you are employed directly by a Centre you should be covered however, you should check with your employer. If you move between centres or freelance i.e. conduct your own business, it would be advisable to have your own insurance.
How do I go about obtaining insurance?
When you register yourself as a Fitness/Exercise Professional with a recognised National Health and Fitness Industry Association, like Kinect Australia or Fitness Australia, you will automatically gain access to cost effective insurance packages for Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance.

What does Public Liability cover?
Public Liability covers you for damages and legal costs arising out of third party bodily injury or third party property damage, and for products sold and supplied including refreshments.
What does Professional Indemnity cover?
Professional Indemnity covers you for breaches of professional duty arising from negligent acts, errors or omissions.
